日本の財務省と日本たばこ協会はタバコ広告の規制を強化する方針を打ち出した。2007年からF1日本GPでタバコ広告の車は見られなくなるだろう。
F1はタバコ規制の強い欧州からアジアへ移ろうとしている。だがWHOの勧告により、規制は世界的なものに広がっている。日本だけでなく、他のアジア諸国もいずれ広告禁止になっていく。F1はタバコマネーから脱却しなければならない。それができているのはウィリアムズ、ザウバー、ジャガー、トヨタである。
Japan's Ministry of Finance and Tobacco Institute decided to tighten up regulation of a tobacco advertisement. It will stop seeing the car of tobacco advertisement in F1 Japan GP from 2007.
F1 is presupposing that it changes from strong Europe of tobacco regulation to Asia. But by advice of WHO, regulation has spread in the global thing. Not only Japan but other Asian countries become advertising prohibition someday. F1 must free itself from tobacco money. It is Williams, Sauber, Jaguar, and Toyota that it is made.

ジェット機も事業化しようとするホンダにとって、F1は多くの取り組みのひとつでしかない。「勝てる」と言う社長の認識は甘いだろうか。第三期も5年目に入る。もし勝てそうにないなら、「やめる」ことも視野に入れるかもしれない。だがF1こそ、'自動車メーカー'ホンダの存在意義「チャレンジ精神」そのものである。負けてやめたら、若い世代にはF1＝トヨタと見られてしまう。

For Honda which is also going to industrialize the jet aircraft, there is no F1 one of many the measures. Is recognition of the president who says, "can win" sweet? The third time will also enter in 5th. Supposing it does not win, what "stop" may be put into a view. But just F1 is the significance of existence "challenge spirit" of 'automaker' Honda itself. If they lose and stops, a young generation will regard as F1 equal Toyota.

Barrichello extends the contract with Ferrari until 2006. Possibly Barrichello had an offer from Williams. Barrichello said that he wants to become a champion. Ferrari determined enclosing him. As for whether it is Schumacher's role of support, the contract is not clarified.
