BARは改良型005Bを走らせた。005との違いは、サイドポッドのえぐれ具合だ。だがトップチームに比べて角張っており、急造の感がある。初日はトラブルが続出した。まだリアウィングが2枚のままである。MP4/17Dのように前年型で勝負できるほど甘くないように思えるのだが。ミシュランとのマッチングという大きな課題も抱える。
BAR ran improved type 005B. The difference from 005 can scoop out side pod and is condition. But compared with the top team, it is square, and there is a feeling of hurried construction. As for the first day, troubles occurred one after another. The number of the rear wings still continues being two. It seems not to be as sweet as it to be able to fight with type like MP 4/17D in the previous year. They also hold a big subject called matching with Michelin.

2004フランスGP開催に向けて、マニクールの代わりにポールリカールが立候補する。ポールリカールはバーニー・エクレストンが所有する。観客席はまだないが、その気になれば作れる。照明設備を用意してF1初のナイトレースも考えられる。場合によっては観客席なしのTV中継専用もありうる。ポールリカールは1971年から14回もF1を開催した実績がある。トヨタのホームコースにもなっている。

McLaren carried out the shake down of the new car MP 4-19 at Barcelona test. In the improved type of MP 4-18, the ridgeline of rear cowl is having become high towards back in a difference. France has Michelin and Renault. It is the country in which the world's first car race was performed in 1895, and world's first Grand Prix was performed in 1906. On the other hand, F1 may be stopped only at once in 1955. (sio)

ブラジルGPを主催しているサンパウロ市が、市民団体から訴えられて敗れた。貧困層を助けずに900万ドルもグランプリに投資することはできなくなった。市に代わって資金を出す企業が現れなければ中止になる。(東京中日)
カナダGPは主催の方向とすると、来年も第16戦鈴鹿が最終戦になるのだろうか。
F1はいまだに危機の中にあることがわかるだろう。何億という大金のかかるイベントに出資したいと思う企業が必要なのだ。
2004 France GP cancelled?
France Grand Prix in Magny-Cours of next year is likely to be driven into the stop. The Nievre local government has lapsed into the financial problem, and cannot pay capital for Grand Prix which took out the large deficit for two consecutive years. A citizen group appeals against Sao Paulo which is sponsoring Brazil GP, and it was beaten from them. 9 million dollars became unable to make an investment upon Grand Prix, without helping a poverty layer. If Canada GP is made into the direction of sponsorship next year, does 16th game Suzuka become the final game?
Probably, it turns out that F1 is still in a crisis. A company wanting to finance the event which a lot of money called what 100 million requires is required.
