   Note
I think that the first album of "Chakra" is a parody of a rock. music. The sound of chakra is near rock and not really rock sound.
Mishio joind to chakra by a auditiion becase her voice is evaluated strange.
Chakra attached the watanabe-production. Chakra performed on tv show, because the production is promort of many personality to tv a show those day.It is a little strange spectacle.
The fashion of chakra of album jacket is like chinese. I think this was effected by the fashion of yellow magic orchestra(such as Solid State Survivor).
"Hukuno-tane" was hit. A singing of this song like a japanese folk song. "Shimano-onna" like the song of okinawa island. The musical performance of "tokyo sweet" is progressive rock. "Isshoni"and "I am soro" likes a hard rock.
The word of these songs is humorous and little sexy.
The sound of chakra is rich in variety. The vocal of Mishio is powerfull and humorous.
Makoto Yano is a member of original "Moon Riders" and firist hasband of Akiko Yano.

  Note

Japanese important musician such as Haruomi Hosono and Hideki Matsutake (from YMO) joined to Secound album "satekoso".
"Satekoso" is a coined word and it's' mean is not clear ". Sate" has a nuance of "what shall I do I now?" , and "koso" has " just a thing I want".I don't know well.
"Satekoso" is a experimentally aubum and contained much musical idea. I am convinced a masterpece as typical 80th japanese music.
The word of "Itohoni" is a musical scale -do, re, mi- replaced to japanese old I, ro, ha.
The vocal by Mishio of "Myun-myun" and "free" are scat.with a great deal of personality. "Ochosimono koushinkyoku" is cheer song of life for the march of a frivolous person.
"Chotto itaikedo suteki" could hear very powerful vocal.

The mebmer of Chakra on "nanyo de yoisho:MIshio Ogawa (Vo,,etc), Bun Itakura(Gut, etc)

      7.Thema(M-Bun)

  Note
The last album of chakra was mini-album including only 7 songs and the member of chakra was only two persons - Mishio and Bun.
I think that the play style listen to the album was expressed "asian beat pop". This sound is continue after "asian fantasy orchestra" introduced by Kiyohiko Senba.
Kiyohiko Senba is not only a performing musician of japanese traditional percussion - "tuzumi" or "taiko" but also a drums player of western jazz and fusion. He is a member of "Squre" which is a typical fusion band.
Shuichi "ponta"Murakami is a typycal japanese drumer, he plying jazz and pops field long time.
The sound of this album was adopt asian and western style such as a indian musical instrument "tabla", and rythm is emphasis.
"Honto no koto-wo ieba" has a paradox word. I'll speak out honestly, I am a liar.
"Mada" has only eflective words of the chakra and the song was dropped a hint that the dissolution.
I use "mada" as tytle of this page.
