　Groo は Demo Scene でも有名なグループのひとつである CNCD のメンバーとして有名です。彼については、波平会でもとりあげられているので、その作品を聴かれた方も多いのではないかと思います。

　CNCD で制作したデモ・チューンのいくつかは、Hornet にアップされていますし、それ以前に活動していたグループである Fairlight、The Black Robes、Virtual Dreams での作品は、Aminet にあります。それらのうちで、最も素晴らしい作品は、あの辛口の Hornet でも高評価を受けた Soundtrack to NoooN demo "Stars"(Hornet/417KB) ではないでしょうか。

　Demo/MOD 関連以外の Groo の CNCD での活動として、TRSI Recordz からリリースされたアルバム "CNCD" の制作の他、Harmaa vyohyke というグループを結成して、フィンランド国内のジャズフェスティバルに出演したりしています。ここでは Groo は、キーボードを担当していたようです。いずれの作品も、CNCD の mp3 music ページに公開されています。

　最近の Groo の活動についてですが、Lenni-Kalle Taipale Trio というジャズトリオのドラマーの Sami Jarvinen、どうも彼が Groo その人のようです。残念ながらどうしても確認ができないのですが、年齢や活動歴、容姿などからしても、その可能性は高いと思います。

　ちなみにその Lenni-Kalle Taipale Trio は、アルバム "Nothing to Hide" を 98年にレコーディングしていて、廉価なクラシック CD のシリーズで有名なレーベル Naxos のジャズ部門である Naxos Jazz からリリースしています。
