Eisen’in Kano (1696-1731) Kano painter. Lived in Edo. Son and pupil of Chikanobu Kano; became head of fourth generation of Kano family at Kobikicho. In 1711, appointed as artist to the shogun’s court. By order of the emperor, copied the old paintings in the imperial collection and painted Screen for the emperor. Received title of Hogen. Adopted Jusen, son of Zuisen Kano. Condition: There are wrinkle a little bit in painting. --There is no need to worry to much about it.
