Bunrin Shiokawa (1808-1877) Shijyo sect painter. Lived in Kyoto. Pupil of Toyohiko Okamoto; also learned the Nanga manner and something of Western painting. Specialized in landscapes. His painting, somewhat heavier and more Western than that of his contemporaries, set the style for painting in Kyoto in the early Meiji era. Condition : There are a little bit thin stain in painting. --There is no need to worry to much about it.
