2日目にウィリアムズのモントーヤがコースレコードを更新しましたが、最終日にジャガーのピッツォニアがそれを破りました。
ウィリアムズは前の週のバルセロナで不調でしたが、ここでは新しい空力パーツを装着して良い結果を得ました。しかし燃料が重いときにペースが上がりません。ラルフも沈んでいます。FW25は厳しい戦いを強いられそうです。BARやジョーダンなど中堅チームが徐々にタイムアップしてきており、ウィリアムズはそれらにうずもれてしまう可能性があります。
フェラーリのバリチェロは2日間で淡々と208周をこなしました。また、ジョーダンの新人ファーマンは、フィジケラの1.5秒落ちでした。

Through the home course of Ferrari, Schumacher updated the course record by new car F2003-GA. Although engine took the noise 2nd day and being stopped by 8 laps, 266 laps was run in four days. トヨタのホームコースであるポールリカールに、マクラーレンが来ました。ライコネンが初日と2日目にトップタイムをマークしました。マクラーレンは3日間で588周を走り、MP4/17Dでのぞむ開幕戦に向けて、信頼性を確認しました。
トヨタはダ・マッタがTF103、ゾンタがTF102で走りました。最終日にゾンタがTF103で走り、ダ・マッタと同等のタイムを記録しています。ダ・マッタはゾンタと同じレベルでしょうか。パニスなら彼らより0.5秒は速いかもしれません。
McLaren came for PaulRicard which is the home course of Toyota. Raikkonen marked the top time with the first and 2nd day. McLaren ran 588 laps in three days, and checked reliability towards the opening race desired by MP 4/17D.
As for Toyota, da Matta ran by TF103 and, Zonta ran by TF102. Zonta runs by TF103 at the final day, and the time equivalent to da Matta is recorded. Is da Matta the same level as Zonta? If it is Panis, 0.5 seconds may be quicker than them.
