At that time old woman of Afuminokuni came and said as follows. Only I know the place where remains of Miko were buried well. It's confirmed by his tooth (A tooth was a double tooth like Sakikusa.). So the Emperor rallied the people, dug earth and sought for remains. And remains were found, so an Imperial mausoleum was made an eastern mountain of Kayano and it was buried. It made children of Karabukuro protect the Imperial mausoleum. And also, it returned to Kafuchinokuni with the remains. Now, without losing sight of the place, an old woman praised the one it knew certainly, and gave the name called Okimenoomina. By that, it invited her to Imperial Court, and treasured widely cordially. An old woman made the house where she lives with that around the Imperial Court, and she went to the Imperial Court certainly every day. So when inviting an old woman, the Emperor hung a big bell on an entrance of the palace, and rang that certainly. And the Emperor composed the following emperor's poem. "It passes a small valley overgrown with Japanese pampas grass, and a big bell is ringing. Okime comes." Now, Okimenoomina said as follows. "Because I got old very much, I want to come back to the hometown." When she left the capital, the Emperor saw her off. The Emperor wrote the next Emperor's composition. "Okime. Okime of Afumi. From tomorrow, you pass out of sight behind the mountain." When the Emperor encountered a misfortune before and escaped, he was looking for an old man of Ikahi which took food of the Emperor. Ikahi was arrested. He was cut in a riverbank of Asukagawaz. The line of all knees of his whole families was cut off. For such a reason, to this day, the descendant drags a foot by all means on a day to go to Yamato. And it showed the location of the old man. There is called Shimesu. |
