真紅のイタリア歌劇に幕 (9/12)
優勝バリチェロ、2位M・シューマッハ、3位バトン、4位佐藤、5位モントーヤ、6位クルサード、7位ピッツォニア、8位フィジケラ。
フェラーリの地元モンツァ1-2は2年ぶり(2年前もバリチェロ−M・シューマッハの順)。
BARはコンストラクターズポイントでルノーを逆転、2位に浮上。

フェラーリ1-2奪い返す (9/12)
2回目のピットアウトでM・シューマッハが佐藤と第一シケインで抜いた。
3位アロンソがロッジアでスピンオフ。
バリチェロがピットアウトでバトンとM・シューマッハの前、M・シューマッハがバトンを追い抜く、フェラーリが1−2。
車の圧倒的性能差が30秒差をはね返した。
M・シューマッハはバリチェロに花を持たす。まるで筋書きがあったかのごとく。前半の面白さが、後半に白けた。

地元フェラーリがまさかの後退 (9/12)
直前の雨でバリチェロがウェットタイヤのギャンブル。一時は2位に6秒差をつけるも、路面が乾いてくると遅くなり、アロンソに追い抜かれた。
M・シューマッハは1周目のロッジアでスピン、大きく後退。BSはチョイ濡れで遅く、1位に30秒以上の差をつけられた。
佐藤とモントーヤはシケインでショートカットして後続を先行させた。
各車1回目のピットを終えて、1位バトン、2位アロンソ、3位モントーヤ、4位バリチェロ、5位佐藤。
 
Crimson Italian opera was over (Sep.12)
Barrichello won, 2nd M.Schumacher, 3rd Button, 4th Sato, 5th Montoya, 6th Coulthard, 7th Pizzonia, 8th Fisichella.
Ferrari's 1-2 was the first time in 2 years (2 years before, Barrichello - M.Schumacher, same sequence)
BAR reversed Renault on constructors points and was 2nd.

Ferrari took again 1-2 (Sep.12)
At 2nd pit out, M.Schumacher passed Sato at 1st chicane.
3rd Alonso spun off at Roggia.
Barrichello pit out in front of Button and M.Schumacher, M.Schumacher overtook Button, Ferrari 1-2.
The overwhelming performance difference of cars rebounded the difference for 30 seconds.
M.Schumacher gives a flower to Barrichello. As if there was a plot completely. The fun of the first half was spoiled in the second half.
 
Retreat with local Ferrari by no means (Sep.12)
Barrichello gambled by wet tyres on rain just before the race. He put 6 seconds lead for 2nd, but became late on drying and passed by Alonso.
M.Schumacher spun at Roggia on 1st lap and was back off. BS was late on a little wet condition, he was put 30 seconds or more against the leader.
Sato and Montoya shortcut the chicane and were made to precede to followers.
Each cars pit 1st time, 1st Button, 2nd Alonso, 3rd Montoya, 4th Barrichello, 5th Sato.
 
Monza Wings (Sep.12) Spa Monza Notes
中高速スパと高速モンツァで上位チームの空力セッティングの違いを見る。パワーに自信があるチームとないチームで、ウィングの寝かせ方が少し異なることがわかる。それが最高速度の差にに表われた。ウィリアムズとBARはトップエンドが伸びない傾向にしている。

The difference from medium-high speed Spa and high speed Monza in aerodynamics settings of higher rank teams are regarded. It turns out that how to lay down the wings differs for a while in the team which has confidence in power, and the team which is not. It appeared in the difference of top speed. The top end makes Williams and BAR the inelastic tendency.

最も空力に優れるフェラーリだが、リアウィングはかなり寝かせた。フロントウィングは中央だけ寝かせた。センターウィングは外した。

Although it was Ferrari which is most excellent in aerodynamics, the rear wing was considerably put to sleep. The front wing lays down only the center. The center wings were removed.
 
BMWパワーを持つウィリアムズはリアウィングをデルタ状にした。フロントウィングはより湾曲状にしてきた。

Williams with BMW power made the rear wing the shape of a delta. The front wing has been more made into the letter of a curve.
 
パワーで劣るが旋回性能に優れるルノーは最もウィングを寝かせた。一方、センターウィングは残したままである。

Although it was inferior by power, Renault who is excellent in a revolution performance lay down the wings most. On the other hand, it has left the center wings.
 
ホンダパワーを持つBARはリアウィングの寝かせ方がややゆるい。フロントウィングはスパより滑らかにした。

BAR with Hobda power has a little loose how to lay down the rear wing. The front wing was made smoother than Spa.
 
マクラーレンはノーズを太くした。空力とは別の要因と思われる。メルセデスが劣るのでウィングはかなり寝かせた。

McLaren made the nose thick. The factor other than aerodynamics is seemed. Since Mercedes was inferior, the wings was considerably lay down.

金曜フリー走行 (9/10)
各チームのセクターベストを合計したポテンシャルを見ると、フェラーリの強さが表われる。特に高速コーナーのレズモがあるセクター2で速い。追うのはBARとマクラーレン。
ピッツォニアは全セクターでモントーヤを上回ったが、パラボリカでクラッシュしたことから、入れ込みすぎの感あり。
