ウィリアムズトヨタが失格 (6/13)
ウィリアムズとトヨタがカナダGPで失格になった。両チームは、違法なブレーキダクトを使用したことが判明した。ウィリアムズは抗議しない模様。この結果、バリチェロが2位でフェラーリが1-2。バトン3位。フィジケラ4位、ライコネン5位は今季自己最高。クルサード6位、グロック7位、ハイドフェルド8位がポイント圏外から滑り込んだ。グロックはF1デビュー戦で入賞。
 
Williams and Toyota disqualified (Jun.13)
Williams and Toyota were disqualified from the Canada GP. It was appeared both teams used illegal brake duct. Williams seems not to protest. As the result, Barrichello was up to 2nd and Ferrari 1-2. Button 3rd. Fisichella 4th and Raikkonen 4th were the highest in this season. Coulthard 6th, Glock 7th, and Heidfeld 8th were from outside of points. Glock pointed in the F1 debut race.

慣れろ。明らかにあいつが車をコントロールしてるわけじゃない。そういう問題じゃない。彼のエンジンは再び爆発した。

サトーは本当にこの車のシートの価値がない。昨日の大きなミスの後、今日再び大きなミスして、ポイントに近づくチャンスを失った。第一シケインの混乱の中であわやクラッシュしそうになった。なんで彼のエンジンがいつもブローアップするんだろう。たぶん彼はマシンに十分スムーズじゃないんだろう。(ドイツ)

まあたぶん、それはあなたの個人的意見だろう。BARチーム全体のように見える。タクマの鼻っ柱の強い絶対引かないスタイルに合わないんだ。

彼は、見る分にはエキサイティングなドライバーだと思う。彼が一度彼自身を正しくプッシュすることを学んだら、ジェンソンは気をつけたほうが良い。タクマ・サトーはもっと天性の速さを持っていると思う。

私の個人的意見では、サトーが彼自身を正しい方法でプッシュすることを学ぶとは思えない。少なくとも、私がBARのチームボスなら、自分のドライバーが何度も何度もトップフィニッシュするチャンスを失うのを見るのはうれしくない。愚かなドライビングでレースを続けてミスするようじゃね。

何のトラブル?タクマの問題なのか?彼だけが今年4つリタイヤしている。

カミカゼ・タクマがまた特攻した・・・

TSは、これまでに見せたのが彼のやり方なら、決して正しく理解しないだろう。彼のヘアピンでのオーバーテイクの試みは、疑いなくひどく、アマチュアっぽい。TSは速いが、危険だ。彼はあやうくヘアピンで3〜5台を道連れにした。(アメリカ)

Get used to it, the guy obviously has no car control. Not that it matters, his engine exploded once again.

Sato isn't really worth the seat in this car, after a big mistake yesterday, big mistake today again, which costs the chance to come near the points and was very close to crash into the chaos on the first chicane. I wondering a bit why everytime his engine is blowing up, maybe he is not smooth enough with his material. (Germany)

Well, maybe that's your personal opinion. It seems the whole BAR team quite fancies the hard-nosed, no surrender style of Takuma's.

I think he is an exciting driver to watch, and once he learns to push himself correctly, Jenson better watch out cause Takuma Sato has MORE natural speed IMHO.

And my personal opinion is, that I doubt Sato will ever learn to push himself the correct way. At least as team boss of BAR I would not happy to see my driver again and again smash the chances of a top finish with stupid driving mistakes race after race.

Sato made a mess of this weekend, but he encountered problems even before qualifying. Blaming mechanical problems, like what Sato experienced throughout this weekend, on his driving style is utter nonsense.
What has been the problem? Is it a Takuma problem, because he has had four major failures this year?
Otmar Szafnauer: Absolutely not, it's the luck of the draw really. We have spent a lot of time analysing the data on both drivers and there is nothing to point at one driver versus the other. It's not driving style, it's just circumstances of the race and those are different so it is not a Takuma problem, per se.

Didn't want to say that Sato caused mechanical troubles because of his driving style. I only questions if Sato is harder on his machine and Button are more saving with the material.

True and true. Maybe JV and TS should have a beer together and compare experiences. BAR's non Button drivers seem to have and impossible task, and I thought Honda police were going to make sure this didn't happen again. I think TS hates losing, and would rather push too far and fuck up, than pull back and come in second. If he is going to win anything, he is going to have to remove some of his win or die attitude. Takuma the kamikaze hits again...

TS will never get it right if his current form is any indication what ever. His overbaked move into the hairpin was sad and "amateurish" without question. TS is fast, but dangerous - he almost took out 3-5 cars on that hairpin! (USA)

抜けなかったバリチェロ (6/13)
バリチェロはM・シューマッハを追い抜く素振りを見せたが、結局そうしなかった。バリチェロが前に出ていたら、勝ったかもしれなかった。だがそれはフェラーリで許されなかった。

BARホンダは散々なレース (6/13)
佐藤が3連続白煙。バトンもフェラーリ2台に負け。勝てるかもとはやされたBARホンダが、あらためてフェラーリとの実力差を思い知らされた。
 
Barrichello could not pass (Jun.13)
Although Barrichello intimated an intention to pass M.Schumacher, he was not done so after all. When Barrichello had come out in front of, possibly he won. But it was not allowed with Ferrari.

BAR Honda's terrible race (Jun.13)
Sato white smoked  3 in a low. Button was also defeat by two Ferraris. BAR Honda flattered saying whether they can win was made to realize a merit difference with Ferrari anew.

金曜に低迷していたウィリアムズが、土曜に盛り返した。ラルフは、予選で3つのセクターでミスなく安定した走りをしたことがPPにつながった。致命的なミスは佐藤だったが、ラルフを除く上位はいずれも何がしかのミスがあった。
 

Williams who had hung low on Friday regained on Saturday. It was connected with PP that Ralf did the run stabilized without the mistake with three sectors by the qualifying. Although the fatal mistake was Sato, as for each higher rank except Ralf, what had a mistake.
 
セクター1は佐藤が最速。バトンが次いだ。M・シューマッハは第一シケインでミスがあり、第一予選と同タイムにとどまった。
 
For a sector 1, Sato was the fastest. Button ranked second. M.Schumacher had a mistake at 1st chicane and remained in the first qualifying's same time.
 
セクター2はラルフとバトンがほぼ同タイム。中速のシケインが2つある部分で、燃料の影響が出る。二人が軽いことを思わせる。バリチェロが第2シケインでミスした。
 
For the sector 2, Ralf and Button were same time mostly. The influence of fuel came out in the portion with two chicanes of medium speed. Two persons made a light thing consider. Barrichello made the mistake by the 2nd chicane.
 
M・シューマッハはセクター3でタイムを落とした。ヘアピンでもミスがあった。アロンソとモントーヤもミスが見られた。
 
M.Schumacher dropped the time on the sector 3. There was a mistake also with a hairpin. The mistake was seen also for Alonso and Montoya.

サトーは残念。でも360度スピンで楽しませてくれたね。

明らかにこの予選方式はサトーのアグレッシブなスタイルに合わない。彼が落ち着くことを学んでないとは思わない。予選でミヒャエルの前になるチャンスを失ったのは2度目だ。

タクマ"アイスマン"サトーはまたクールだったね(訳注:皮肉)。

BARはすばらしい車を作ったのに、それを生かせるドライバーラインアップじゃないのが哀れだ。

Sato disappoints, but entertains with a 360...

Clearly this qualifying format doesn't suit Sato's aggressive style. I can't believe he still hasn't learned to settle down. This is the second time he's blown an opportunity to qualify ahead of Michael.

Takuma "Iceman" Sato really kept his cool again.

Yeah it's a pity that BAR have produced a superb car and don't have a driver lineup that is capable of being consistent with it. (USA)

Sato will somehow find a way to grab attention again tomorrow, but it better be for his driving than for his Mansell like moments. (Brazil)

Sato was doing pretty good till the spin. Sad for him.

I wonder, since Sato is practically at the end of the field, if they could give his a "fresh" car??? Maybe an engine change and some new bits, and start at the end of the line? He has the car and speed to make up a lot at the beginning! (USA)

弟PP、兄6番手、ミス琢磨17 (6/12)
予選はR・シューマッハが1:12.275でPPを獲得。2番手バトン、3番手トゥルーリ。M・シューマッハは1秒差の6番手。クリエン健闘10番手。佐藤は最終シケインでスピンし、17番手。

佐藤は朝のトラブルが影響したのか。セクター1で最速だったが、第2シケインでミス。取り戻そうとしてリスキーな走りをしてしまった。こういう場面でバトンの後ろでもいいじゃないかと抑えることが必要。

高温でミシュランのソフトが一発で有利になった。レースの耐久性が見どころ。アクシデントの起きやすいコースで、今回の佐藤は慎重さが求められる。

 
Ralf PP, Michael 6th, missing Taku 17th (Jun.12)
As for a qualifying, R.Schumacher gained PP by 1:12.275. 2nd Button, 3rd Trulli. M.Schumacher was 6th of 1 second difference. Klien, good fight of 10th. Sato spun at the last chicane and was 17th. 

Did the morning trouble influence for Sato? Although he was the fastest at the sector 1, a mistake was made by the 2nd chicane. He was going to recover and the risky run has been carried out. To stop in such scenes is required that it was OK behind Button.

The soft tyre of Michelin became advantageous by 1 lap at high temperature. The durability of a race is promise. As for this Sato, it is required for prudence through the course in which an accident tends to occur.

土曜フリー走行 (6/12)
琢磨トラブル、ルノー1:12秒台
ジョーダンはパンターノに代わりグロックがカーナンバー19で走行。
前半のトップはM・シューマッハ。アロンソと2人だけ1:13秒台。バトン3番手。佐藤はトラブルでタイムなし。
後半はルノーが1:12秒台に入り、トゥルーリとアロンソで1-2を占めた。佐藤は残り20分でようやく連続周回を始め、バトンに次ぐ4番手。M・シューマッハは6番手。

バトンは金曜からルノーを下回っている。佐藤にトラブルがなければルノーを上回っていたかもしれない。

フェラーリがフリー走行で0.8秒の差をつけられたのはバーレーン以来。そのときは燃料を積んだ最終予選でM・シューマッハがPPだった。

今回はミシュランがラバーグリップでタイムアップして来ているのが違うようだ。
 
Saturday Practice  (Jun.12)
Taku in trouble, Renault 1:12 secs.
As for Jordan, instead of Pantano, Glock runs by the car number 19. 
On the 1st half, M.Schumacher topped. He and Alonso only recorded 1:13 secs. Button was 3rd. Sato troubled and had no time. 
Renault went into the level of 1:12 seconds and occupied 1-2 by Trulli and Alonso the second half. Sato was 4th which remained in 20 minutes, began the continuation circumference at last, and ranked second to Button. M.Schumacher was No. 6.

Button was less than Renault from Friday. If Sato did not have a trouble, possibly he had exceeded Renault.

It was since Bahrain that Ferrari had the difference for 0.8 seconds behind given to the practice. M.Schumacher had took PP in the last qualifying which stacked fuel then.

It seems that it is different that Michelin has passed the deadline of by the rubber grip this time.

琢磨午後トップ、だがフェラーリ強し (6/11)
佐藤が午後にトップタイム。だがベストタイムは午前のM・シューマッハ。フェラーリは午後にロングランで1:14秒台をコンスタントに出して強さを見せ付けた。

午前と午後のセクターベスト合計では、M・シューマッハが1:13.621、佐藤は1:14.086で0.465秒の差がある。

今回もフェラーリが逃げ、BARが追う展開が予想される。M・シューマッハはターン9で壁にヒットしてしまったが。

トヨタが復調傾向だが、ウィリアムズは落ち込む。

ジョーダンのパンターノは資金の問題で走れず。
 
Taku topped at noon, but Ferrari is strong (Jun.11)
Sato topped at the afternoon. But best time was recorded by M.Schumacher at the morning. Ferrari took out the level of 1:14 seconds with the long run constantly at the afternoon, and displayed strength.

In the sector best total of the morning and an afternoon, M.Schumacher recorded 1:13.621 and Sato had a difference for 0.465 seconds by 1:14.086.

Ferrari also escapes this time and the deployment which BAR follows is expected. M.Schumacher has been hit in the wall by the turn 9.

Williams was depressed although Toyota was a recovery tendency.

Pantano of Jordan could not run on the problem of capital.
