Raikkonen escaped. and won. The 2nd place, although successive victories stopped, since the 3rd place of a two-point difference was given

is the 7th champion determination. Continuation passed Fangio's four-year continuation for five years.
But Michael's eyes were like a died fish.

34th lap restart. Raikkonen kept 1st. Montoya occurred rear tyre burst. He may
cut at the kerbstone as Coulthard.

Qualify (Aug.28)
Trulli gained 2nd PP since Monaco in the situation that rain vigor changed.
It did not reach for only 0.072 seconds, but Michael was 2nd. Alonso was
3rd. BAR sank in Button of 12th, and Sato 15th. The comeback by the race dry
is expected to be is expected.

朝9時のセッションは霧のため中止。1999年には午前のセッションがすべて中止になったことがある。
10時45分から15分だけ行われた今季初のウェットセッションでは、フェラーリが1-2。佐藤はオールージュのあるセクター1で最速だったが、低速マウンテン区間のセクター2が遅い。そのセクター2で速かったのがM・シューマッハ。高速コーナーの多いセクター3はマクラーレンが速かった。フィジケラも4番手に入るなど、ウェットコンディションではブリヂストンに一日の長あり。

Saturday Practice
(Aug.28)
The session at 9:00 was cancelled in the morning for fog. All the sessions
of ante-meridian had been stopped in 1999.
At the wet session first this season performed from 10:45 only for 15
minutes, Ferrari was 1-2. Although Sato was the quickest with Sector 1 with
Eau-Rouge, he was late in Sector 2 of the low-speed mountain section. It was
Michael that was quick at Sector 2. Sector 3 with many high-speed corners
had quick McLaren. Since Fisichella also went into 4th, in wet condition,
Bridgestone is superior.

Friday Practice
(Aug.27)
Raikkonen tops by 1:44.701. All three sets of BAR went into five
higher ranks. It is the 2nd time that Ferrari was not able to take a top in the
Friday morning and afternoon this season since Europe GP. 22 road surfaces are
the minimum this season. Michelin demonstrated the performance also at low
temperature.
