As for Malaysia GP, each team took the measures against high temperature. Williams evolved flip-ups and winglets in rear section and has formed them into the mini-wing.
 
マレーシアGPは高温対策を各チームが施しました。ウィリアムズはリアセクションにあるフリップ・アップとウィングレットを進化させ、ミニ・ウィング化してきました。
 
 


Williams evolved the form of flip-ups. Flip-ups also calls it fairing. It was what rectifies the air applied to a rear tire from side pod. Williams attached the wings of two stages for this like the rear wing. This aimed at the down force effect. Moreover, winglets on side pod are also gradual. Wing end plates attached both flip-ups and winglets. These accessories have wing-ized. 

The chimney of an exhaust port became as large as Ferrari, and started to have been made to be air not only from an exhaust gas. The hole is also made in the side pod end.
ウィリアムズがフリップ・アップの形状を進化させました。フリップ・アップとは、フェアリングとも言います。サイドポッドからリアタイヤにかけて空気の流れを整えるものでした。ウィリアムズはこれをリアウィングのように2段階の翼をつけました。これにより、ダウンフォース効果を狙いました。また、サイドポッド上のウィングレットも段階的になっています。フリップ・アップとウィングレットの両方とも、翼端板がついています。これらの小物がウィング化してきました。

排気口の煙突はフェラーリと同じくらい大きくなり、排気だけでなくサイドポッドからの空気も出すようにしました。サイドポッド後端に穴も開けています。
 


Ferrari's flip-ups of aims at only the rectification effect. As for winglets, the wing end plate has only one (outside).

Ferrari cut the chimney of an exhaust port and shortened it. The hole is made in the bottom of winglets. These are the measures against high temperature of Malaysia. It is because they wants to take out heat after passing along radiator out of early more.
フェラーリのフリップ・アップは整流効果だけを狙ったものです。ウィングレットは翼端板が片方だけ（外側）にあります。

フェラーリは排気口の煙突をカットして短くしました。ウィングレットの下には穴を開けています。これらはマレーシアの高温対策です。ラジエターを通った後の熱気をより早く外に出したいためです。
 


McLaren's flip-ups of are supported from side pod, and these are also to the rectification effect. Wing end plates are attached to winglets both sides slightly.

McLaren made the triangular hole before wing let.
マクラーレンのフリップ・アップはサイドポッドからも支えていますが、こちらも整流効果までです。ウィングレットはわずかに翼端板が両側についています。

マクラーレンはウィングレットの前に三角形の穴を開けました。
 
Patrick Head did not come to Malaysia but he was devoted to an improvement of the machine. There is no big change on expedition series 3 games for teams. However, only Williams is another. It is spectacular how it changes in Brazil.
ウィリアムズはパトリック・ヘッドがマレーシアに来ず、マシンの改善にかかりっきりでした。遠征シリーズ3戦は各チームとも大きな変化はないものです。しかしウィリアムズだけは別です。ブラジルでどう変えてくるかが見ものです。
