ライコネンの勝因その１
ライコネンは予選7番手から、1周目4位に上がっています。これはトゥルーリとＭ・シューマッハが接触し、バリチェロが影響を受けたためです。その後、ライコネンはハイドフェルドを追い抜くのに3周しかかかりませんでした。チームメイトのクルサードが3周目に消えたことは、ライコネン個人にとっては大きいことでした。
バリチェロの敗因その１
一方、バリチェロは1周目に6位に落ちました。バトンを抜くのに5周かかり、ハイドフェルドを抜くのに5周もかかりました。10周目に3位に上がったとき、アロンソとの差は17.005秒、ライコネンとの差は12.746秒になっていました。2台を追い越すのに10周もかかったこと、バリチェロの敗因のひとつはここにあります。
ライコネンの勝因その２
3人の最初のピットインは、アロンソが14周目、ライコネンが19周目、バリチェロが22周目でした。そして、23周目の時点での順位は、1位ライコネン、2位アロンソ(9.067秒差)、3位バリチェロ(12.607秒差)となりました。ライコネンはアロンソより5周遅くピットインしましたが、この5周でアロンソより7.6秒も速く、3.3秒差を逆転しました。
バリチェロの敗因その２
バリチェロはライコネンがピットインする前の周で14.446秒差をつけられていました。バリチェロが3周後にピットインする前に、この差を逆転することは不可能です。むしろ、ターゲットはアロンソでした。アロンソがピットインする14周目、バリチェロのタイム差は17.600秒でした。11周目から14周目までに0.595秒も広がっていたのが最も情けないです。また、22周目にピットインするまでの8周で、17.6秒を逆転することもできませんでした。ピットアウトした時、アロンソは3.540秒先を行ってしまいました。
ライコネンの勝因その３
ライコネンは第二スティントで２位との差を広げました。アロンソがピットインする35周目までに19.075秒と、8.008秒も広げたのです。これで勝利を大きく近寄せました。
バリチェロの敗因その３
バリチェロは第二スティントでアロンソにすぐ追いつきますが、コース上で追い抜くことが出来ません。アロンソがピットインするまで3位で甘んじざるを得なかったのです。これがライコネンを楽にさせました。
ライコネンの勝因その４
ライコネンは２回目のピットストップを焦ることなく済ませました。第三スティントでは、２位との差をさらに広げています。フェラーリに対し、差を縮められる周はほとんどありませんでした。マシン、ドライバーともに実力でフェラーリを倒したと言えます。
バリチェロの敗因その４
バリチェロは２回目のピットストップでようやく実質上の2位に上がりました。アロンソの真後ろを走っていて、アロンソより3周あとにピットインするなら、前に出るのは当然のことです。41周目の段階で、1位ライコネンとの差は21.799秒になっていました。残り15周で逆転は困難でしたが、あきらめたかのように、さらに差が広がっていきました。もし必死に追い上げて差を詰めていけば、未勝利のライコネンにプレッシャーをかけることもできたはずです。

Raikkonen extended the difference with the 2nd place by the second stint. Alonso extended no less than 19.075 seconds and 8.008 seconds by the 35th round which carries out pit in. The victory was brought now close greatly.
Cause of defeat of Barrichello 3
Although Barrichello catches up with Alonso immediately by the second stint, it cannot be passed on a course. It could not but be content by the 3rd place until Alonso carried out pit in. This relieved Raikkonen.
Cause of victory of Raikkonen 4
Raikkonen was finished, without getting impatient for the 2nd pit stop. In the third stint, the difference with the 2nd place is extended further. There was almost no circumference which contracts a difference to Ferrari. It can be said that the machine and the driver pushed down Ferrari by force.
Cause of defeat of Barrichello 4
Barrichello went up to the 2nd place on substance at last for the 2nd pit stop. If it is running and the pit in of right behind [ of Alonso ] is carried out after 3 lap from Alonso, naturally will come out in front. In the stage of the 41st lap, the 1st place of the difference with Raikkonen had become 21.799 seconds. Although the inversion was difficult at remaining 15 laps, the difference spread further as if it abandoned it. When it caught up frantically and the difference was packed, the pressure was also put on non-won Raikkonen.
今回、マクラーレンとフェラーリは最も速いタイムがほとんど互角でした。このことがフェラーリ陣営には驚きだったのではないでしょうか。
アロンソが速いのは第一スティントだけです。これは、ギヤボックスの故障で1,4,5速が使えなくなっていってしまったためでした。
3人に共通なこととして、ピットアウト後の1周目がそのスティントで最も速いということがあります。これは昨年からそういう傾向が出ていましたが、さらに顕著になってきました。ブリヂストンとミシュランの両方とも、予選用に1周だけ速くなる性質を兼ね備えているようです。2周目以降はガクっと落ちます。
