The leading role of 2002 Japan Grand Prix was not Schumacher but Sato. The spectators of Suzuka are completely uninterested, when Schumacher who has his own way goes past. It was the Sato only one person whom the spectators of Suzuka were gazing at hotly.
Sato starts from a personal best of 7th grid. Reserved seat S2 W blocks in
which I sat down in the face of the pit in Jordan, and Sato's grid position.
2002日本グランプリの主役は、シューマッハではなく、佐藤だった。鈴鹿の観客たちは独走するシューマッハが通り過ぎるとき、まったく興味がなかった。鈴鹿の観客たちが熱く見つめていたものは、佐藤ただひとりだった。
佐藤は自己最高の予選7番手からスタートする。私が座った指定席S2のWブロックはジョーダンのピットと佐藤のグリッド位置の目の前にあった。

Launch control changed the sound
A start is the moment of strain always. Although it was sound called "GuanGuan" a long time ago, sound called "Barururu" resounds now in launch control.
The start with two wonderful cars to Renault was shown. Although Trulli
attached Sato's in at the first corner, Sato protected the 7th place.
スタートはいつも緊張の瞬間だ。昔はグァングァンという音だったが、今はラウンチコントロールでバルルルという音が鳴り響く。
ルノーの2台がすばらしいスタートを見せた。トゥルーリが１コーナーで佐藤のインをつくが、佐藤は7位を守った。

21, A sigh covers Suzuka
Two sets of Renault are exactly attached behind Sato, and are not left to it. It seems that Renault is quicker than Jordan.
Renault appeared in the strategy which performs an early pit stop. Trulli went into the 15th lap and the Button went into the 16th lap.
Renault's strategy was successful. When Sato did pit out to the 21st lap, two
sets of Renault came out before Sato. A sigh covers Suzuka.
ルノーの2台は佐藤の背後にぴったりと付いて離れない。佐藤よりもルノーの方が速いようだ。ルノーは早めのピットストップを行う作戦に出た。トゥルーリが15周目に入り、バトンが16周目に入った。
ルノーの作戦は成功した。佐藤が21周目にピットアウトした時、ルノーの2台が佐藤の前に出た。ため息が鈴鹿を覆う。

36, A large cheer covers Suzuka
Sato did his best with the 2nd set of tires. Sato bites at the Renault vigor and does not separate.
The 32nd lap Button is pit in. Trulli stops 33rd lap. Sato went into the pit 36th lap. And when pit out, it came out before Button. Spectators raised the large cheer.
Spectators do not see Schumacher. The flag of aid whenever Sato goes by the
stand, 1st corner, 2nd corner, S corner, and chicane. All places was shaken.
10,000 persons of a Toyota group watched Sato's run like people of a Honda group.
The spectators of Suzuka were set to one.
佐藤は2セット目のタイヤでがんばった。佐藤はルノー勢に食らい付いて離れない。
32周目、バトンがピットイン。33周目、トゥルーリが止まる。36周目、佐藤がピットに入った。そしてピットアウトした時、バトンの前に出た。観客は大歓声を上げた。
観客たちはシューマッハが目の前を通り過ぎても見ない。スタンド、1,2コーナー席、Ｓ字、シケイン、あらゆる場所で佐藤が通るたびに応援の旗が振られた。トヨタグループの1万人は、ホンダグループの人々と同様、佐藤の走りを見守った。鈴鹿がひとつになった。

As for 4 cars of Honda, 3 cars already disappeared. Sato became only one person's Honda driver. Since Ralph retired, Sato went up to the 5th place. But that everyone was worried was whether Sato's car can run to the last.
Schumacher approaches behind Sato. If Sato is passed, he can be managed with 52 laps few 1 lap. But, it also became Sato's pride to finish on the same run lap as Schumacher.
Schumacher runs a final lap. Sato of the car number 10 is the 5th. And the checker was received as it was.
Sato's final lap is anxious and the thing of Schumacher's winning run does
not remember. It seemed to be the winning run after Sato received a checker.
ホンダの4台は、3台がすでに消えた。佐藤はただ一人のホンダドライバーになった。ラルフがリタイヤしたため、佐藤は5位に上がった。だが誰もが心配したのは、佐藤の車が最後まで走れるのかということだった。
佐藤の後ろには1位のシューマッハが近づく。佐藤は追い抜かれれば1周少ない52周で済む。だが、シューマッハと同一の走行ラップで終えることが、佐藤の誇りにもなった。
シューマッハがファイナルラップを行く。電光掲示板にはカーナンバー10の佐藤が5番目に位置されている。そしてそのままチェッカーを受けた。
佐藤のファイナルラップが心配でシューマッハのウィニングランのことは覚えていない。佐藤がチェッカーを受けた後こそ、ウィニングランだった。
