▲MimakiirihikoiniwenoMikoto − MimakiirihikoiniwenoMikoto(Sujin Tenno) △OhmononushinoOhkami. Many plagues happened in this Emperor's ( Sujin Tenno) generation, and people tried to be extinct. The Emperor worried with that. He was on the floor in response to an oracle. OhmononushinoOhkami appeared in a dream at his night, and Ohkami said as follows. "The fashion of this disease is caused by my will. So order Ohotataneko and make me deify. When doing that, a curse of a god doesn't happen. The country will become peaceful, too." It dispatched an express messenger in early horse (post) in all directions and searched for Ohotataneko based on this oracle. And he was found and it was offered to the Emperor at a village of Minu in Kafuchi. The Emperor interrogated him as follows. "Whose offsprings are you?" Ohotataneko answered as follows. "OhmononushinoOhkami married daughter's Ikutamayoribime of SuwetsumiminoMikoto, and KushimikatanoMikoto was born." The Emperor was very glad and said as follows. "The world will be peacefully and the people would shine." A rite appointed Ohotataneko to a Shinto priest right away, and did OhomiwanoOhkami of Mimoroyama (Miwayama). It gave an order to IkagashikowonoMikoto as follows. It let him make a lot of earthenware vessels of flat ritualistic implements and established the main shrine of gods of heaven and earth and did religious service. A shield of red and a pike were deified to SumisakanoKami of Uda. A shield of blackness and a pike were deified to OhsakanoKami. An offering was offered to all gods in the base of a mountain in a slope and gods in shallows on a river. All curses of a god stopped by this, and a country became calm. |
