A local governor of flood control, Tetsugoro Yamaguchi - East Japan catastrophic Tsunami- Nuclear power station

It was introduced a book a local governor of flood control, Testugoro Yamaguchi by Mr.Yoshio Nemoto, chairman of alumni association of Keio university in Tochigi, on the bulletin board of the  alumni association of the university on January 1st 2011.

I bought it and read.

It is a story of life of Tetsugoro Yamaguchi who was born in farmer, a local governor of flood control, spent all life for his job, embankment work, reclamation work, development of new rice fields.

I sincerely impressed for his attitude to proceed his way despite chilly glance of colleague of warriors and boss.

Though it has been said that Japan's strength is based on the common people’s strength but leader’s one. I recognize again it.  I experienced unbelievable earthquake, never experienced, at office in center of Tokyo on afternoon March 11th 2011.

All means of transportation stopped and we are obliged to stay one night at office. Next morning, I found some email described sincerely inquiry from USA.

Why mail come from USA?

Large-scale earthquake disaster news has already spread out in the world.

I was known unheard of East Japan disaster of earthquake and Tsunami, tidal wave, first time.

It is the damage of Fukushima nuclear power plant which doesn't find out the solution that increasing misery further yet.

There is no change in being an earthquake and Tsunami outside the assumption, it disappeared that nuclear energy safety myths.

All Japanese are becoming familiar to atomic energy by the continuous mass communication report.

Though reactor cores stopped however it was caused by design failure of continuation cooling operation system.

Judge from the tendency of recent economic society, the persons related to this accident might not think their responsibility because such big Tsunami, tidal wave, is the outside of their assumption.

It is empty words, a cabinet minister said and praised from mass communications that her question of is it necessary super embankment for occurrence chance of a time of several hundred years of disaster?

The East Japan big earthquake disaster teaches us that it is important to have modesty toward the power of the nature, but can't solve with rationalism.

I recognized the greatness of life of Tetsugoro Yamaguchi , a local governor of flood control written by Mr. Yoshio Nemoto, though I read it roughly on January.
