Hello from Russia of intense cold

I have been working at Sakhalin 2 project that newspaper report as topics since November 2.

It is a large project distance between south and north is 800km.

My place of business is near Korsakov where harbor free from ice in south Sakhalin, Russia.

I'm in charge of an electric design of LPG plant.

The temperature is the lowest temperature minus 22?degree, and the highest temperature minus about 8 degree now.

It becomes cold fast now and it seems to become minus about 30 degree in February.

Actual feeling is pain rather than cold.

It will become a cause of the infirmity of the lungs if they breathe in the air of the low temperature directly and also brain will freeze if head exposed that why hat is always necessary.

When the hat is forgotten, it becomes painful of seeming to tear off the ear at once.

It is mysterious because it is really felt as warm when the temperature occasionally goes up to the vicinity of zero.

It becomes indoor work only and stops outdoor construction in winter because it is such intense cold. .

It is wonderful that people of about 6000 people from 20 countries work together in cooperation keeping the temperature about minus 5 degree with the heater.

It is nothing of concepts here nationality and race's.

Though Russian is 60 percent, it is surprised that a lot of Thais and Filipino exercising.

Leading part's Russian is only a person that it is simple and the nature is good.

I notice that many Korean person working a lot in a local person though Russian is fluent including the talented girl of the office service.

It is people where Japan left many 10000 Korean people at the end of the war and it is the descendant.

My heart is pain looking them; however they are living as pure Russian.

It has been 15 years since the Soviet Union collapses and it shifted to capitalism, Sakhalin doesn't seem to develop too much compared with explosive economic growth of China that shifted to capitalism afterwards.

However, socialist goodness is succeeded and daily necessaries are cheap.

Genuine mink's fur and caviar are sold cheap in the free market.

I think that oil and the natural gas project of Sakhalin that will continue in the future surely contribute to the local development.

IT is very behind though it is big military power country.

There is Internet cafe in the hotel in Cambodia where the world least developed country, the individual Internet use is very difficult in Russia.

This access was successes by finally using the cellular phone of NOKIA.

Only New Year’s Day was a holiday continuously to last year's Taiwan Shinkansen project.

About 10 person of the Taiwan Shinkansen experienced person is participating in this project.

They everybody say "It is heaven and hell in Taiwan and Russia.
