People in Russia

I have been working at Sakhalin LNG project from last November. I may have marinated to join big job because I just finished Taiwan Shinkansen construction on last August.

LNG was imported from Indonesia by conceiving the reversal, and the trial run began according to schedule on July 2 though progress was worried because the pipeline construction interrupted by environmental problems.

The construction completion of phase 1 will be next February and phase 2 will be next May.

Is it an unusual plan that the energy scarcity in the world bring? Though it is usual? That we see rusted iron frame in Russia when budget is lost.

As you know Karafuto was common territory where both Japanese and Russian live. However Karafuto became Russian territory as Karafuto Chisima change treatment under raise of imperialism.

In origin, there were not the border lines in the world.

I have been experiencing that more than twenty countries or more in the world throwing away the concept of the border and the nationality and cooperating toward one target that should be called in the future human being should be achieved.

I want to talk a little about Russian people who take leading part of this project and also working together with us.

Elena:　I was surprised at office ladies navel exposed　style though snowing season in the beginning of last November　when I arrived at office.

She is a genuine Russian daughter, having nice style, but not only that she can speak fluent Japanese.

Elena is a very popular name, there is a name of Elena in each section.

Natasha: She is residence Korea people second generation's daughter.

She speaks English very well though the project official language is English and Russian.

I think that I can't find out such person in our alumnus　speak English well.

Her face is just like Japanese.

However, really@‚“he is a Russian.

She loves Russia　where she was born and grow up.

Alexander: It seems a name like an old king that seems to be scary,　however he is a very timid engineer.

I wonder that he speaks timidly though the Russian is leading part's project.

It may one of know how that he has been living through the power politics in a Soviet age.

Atcham: A good young man who looks like young nobleman and he speaks Japanese fluently.

He knows in detail of Japanese classic literature and also speaks English and Chinese.

I think that he must be the genius because I can't understand Russian though I study for a long time.

He is participating in this project from Irkutsk near Baikal.

He learned Japanese from the uncle (Russian) who was the government official of former Manchurian.

It is said the uncle was arrested by Soviet Union KGB and he has been spent the prison life for many years with the defeat of Japan.

The person in question is hoping for going abroad of Japan to the music university to study after end of this project.

Mr. Bahrain: He is an engineer with the short mustache came from Kazakhstan in the Caspian Sea coast.

He is a quite excellent person in the bargaining unlike a general Russian.

However, he has the charm and I cannot hate it.

A lot of Russians are required to return home between tens of hours and a few days excluding the person in local.

It is a great difference that we Japanese return by the flights of only one-two hours.

It is a mysterious phenomenon.

To tell the truth, a lot of Japanese do not think that the distinction of Russia and Kazakstan though Kazakhstan is an independent country with break-up of the Soviet Union.

People in Russia seem not to attach the distinction of Japan, Korea, and South Korea similarly either.

Mr.Ryu: Residence Korea people of 68 years old of this year.

I　was surprised at　ｇreeting of first meeting.

I am　Ryu.

It became an end of the war at the first grade of elementary school.

He is a　manager in restaurant in South Korea humanities culture　center that contributes to South Korea Red Cross by the Japanese Red Cross and completes it in state capital Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (old Toyohara) city in February this year.

The compulsion mobilization is done from a Korean peninsula to Karafuto as a coal mine worker in 1944 before the same center and there is a dead memorial cenotaph of 3190 people.

Though the Democratic People's Republic of Korea image reported in Japan is bad due to leader's bad image, I think a leader and general people should be distinguished.

The general people are only good people even if going to which country.

The industrial commodity such as machine tools made of this country is exported to countries of old socialism and communism that is the friendly country and I think that it should know the high appraisal has been received.

It is said that Kenji's Miyazawa masterpiece Milky Way railway was made based on his travel in Karafuto.　He traveled Karafuto in August 1923 chases the soul of beloved younger sister Toshi who died previous year and job research for his pupils.

Sakhalin 2 project under work is located in the Kenji's Miyazawa travel route.

In accordance with local people Soviet age of postwar days is that it declines completely, and infrastructures such as harbors and railways that Japan built with great pains became near of unavailability though compared with a Japanese age when development continued.

However, I think that oil liquefaction plant eminent in the world will be completed has big meaning with the hand of Japan again.

I think that it succeeds surely and contributes to the development of Russia, Japan, South Korea, and Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
