I think there are many peoples who choose Kenji Miyazawa with the graduation thesis.

I visited Sakaehama where located in the middle southern part in Sakhalin that faced the Okhotsk  sea, where they said it was the motif of Kenji Miyazawa's masterpiece "Night of the Milky Way railway" with several friends in the middle of March.

When reading his book everybody feel difficulty for Greek mythology name, story development.  It maybe caused due to every peculiar aspect overlapped such as peculiar sentence style, peculiar thinking on the world, and his special understanding of the religion.

However, the content that evokes one's sympathy than understanding might be a secret of his popularity.

His attitude always pursuing what is happiness might have made a fantastic Milky Way railway with desire of Giovanni and Campania.

They can take nature amber in Sakaehama and swan lake located near Sakaehama would became a motif of the scholar dug up fossil in Perishing coast and the swan lake station etc. and might have made the Milky Way railway run on this lake.

Miyazawa Kenji made railway travel between Wakkanai and Oodomari with railway ferry and train travel from Oodomari through Toyohara, Ochiai and Sakaehama in August of Taisho Era.

It is said that the purpose of the travel was job placement to the Oji Paper factory in Ochiai near the Sakaehama for the his pupils at the agricultural school.

However, the railway between the Sakaehama and Ochiai is already a disused line.

Ochiai is only one of station for two night trains for north Karafuto in one day.

It is an age of the bus now.

The bus for Ochiai Station was operated from the Toyohara station every one hour and from Ochiai Station to Sakaehama in every 30 minutes.

It is a small, old bus of 25 persons though it is called buses.

We can available ticket from driver saying the destination.

No foreigner in the bus except us.

I always feel admiration for a fashionable hat of people in Russia and wonderful protection against the cold wear.

When going out from toyohara around bus is solid white and the white birch woods are very beautiful.

There is no signboard of the restaurant though we had plan to take lunch at Ochiai.

It was useless though we went to the restaurant at the hotel excluding the hotel guest.

We knew the shop being written the cafe to be a restaurant.

It was possible to eat while managing to indicate the menu by the brought illustrated conversation collection.

It was very delicious though it was lunch in the shop without the name not recorded in the guide book such as the chaozu with the jar, borschts, and kabobs either.

We got on the bus for the Sakaehama from Ochiai.

We saw the paper mill by which Kenji would have come on.

It still operated though it was becoming superannuated.

It arrived at the Sakaehama about 20 minutes.

However, we are surprised at all sea in Okhotsk had frozen though we imaged a beautiful beach and clear sky.

If Kenji came not in August but March, "Night of the Milky Way railway" would not be born.
