Q ＡＳＴＭ規格をインターネットで買う方法は?

A ＡＳＴＭ（米国材料試験協会）の発行する規格、ハンドブック類は、直営のオンラインショップで、発注、ダウンロードできます。

以下は、2002-03E 現在の見直し状況です。本説明と画面が異なる場合は、画面を優先してください。

オンラインショップでは、規格、ハンドブック等の検索、購入（印刷物、ＰＤＦファイルのダウンロード）ができます。

ＡＳＴＭのホームページにアクセスします。
http://www.astm.org/

左側メニューの中から Standardsをクリックします。画面が変わりますので、

通常の規格検索の場合は、中央部左上のIndividual Standards をクリックします。

検索画面(Standards Search)になります。 「Enter Designation or Keyword」に

番号検索の場合は 規格番号(A961のように)をいれ、２段目を「Standards Designations」のままとし

キーワード検索の場合は キーワード(toy safetyのように)をいれ、２段目を「Title,Scopes,and Index Tesrms(又はSearch all)」とし、

３段目は「All standards」のままにして、「Search」をクリックすると、検索結果が表示されます。

1. Scope: 1.1 This specification relates to possible hazards that may not be recognized readily by the public and that may be encountered in the normal use for which a toy is intended or after reasonably foreseeable abuse. It does not purport to cover every conceivable hazard of a particular toy. This specification does not cover product performance or quality, except as related to safety. Except for the labeling requirements pointing out the functional hazards and age range for which the toy is intended, this specification has no requirements for those aspects of a toy that present an inherent and recognized hazard as part of the function of the toy. Such an example is a sharp point necessary for the function of a needle. The needle is an inherent hazard that is well understood by the purchaser of a toy sewing kit, and this hazard is communicated to the user as part of the normal educational process.; 1.2 On the other hand, while a riding toy has inherent hazards associated with its use (for example, falling off onto the sidewalk), the possible hazards associated with its construction (sharp edges, exposed mechanisms, etc.) will be minimized by the application of this specification.; 1.3 This specification covers requirements and contains test methods for toys intended for use by children in age groups through 14 years. Different age limits for various requirements will be found in this specification. These limits reflect the nature of the hazards and expected mental or physical ability, or both, of a child to cope with the hazards.; 【中略】; 1.8 The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as the standard. のいずれかを選択します。通常は、PDFファイルダウンロード購入になると思います。 注文主の所在地指定画面になりますので、

「Please select your ship-to location」のプルダウンメニューで、「International(米、加以外)」を選択し、「Go to Shopping Cart」をクリックします。

ここでShopping Cart に入りますが、後で取り消しが可能です。支払いはすべてクレジットカードになります。

Shopping Cart の内容表示画面になります。

購入品名(Product)、数量(Quantity)、単価(Price Per Unit)、送料(Shipping Per Unit)、価格(Total)　が各品目毎に表示され、総合計(Grand Total)が右下に表示されます。

取り消しや数量変更の場合は、その下のModify Cartをクリックすると修正画面に変わりますので　Quantity を 0 又は必要数に変更し、「Modify Cart」をクリックします。

他の規格の購入を続ける場合は Continue Shopping をクリックし、選択画面、検索画面へ戻ります。

必要なものがそろった場合は、下部の購入画面を選択します。

初めての場合は、 ①Relular Check Out を選択します。
クレジットカード番号入力、ダウンロード画面へ進むはずですが、確認していません。

もし、次回以降も利用する場合は、②One Click Check Out　の下部の説明のようにワンクリック用登録Register for OneClick Nowをしておくと、次回からは ②One Click Check Out で Password と Last Name(ID) を入れることにより入力情報(送付先などと思われる)の簡略化が可能のようです。
