ノルウェーの代表的標準化機関。
国家規格(NS)を制定。ＮＳはノルウェー語で発行（一部、英語版もある）。 大部分は任意規格であるが、一部は強制規格となっている。
ＩＳＯのメンバボディ。なお、ＩＥＣには ＮＥＫ(Norsk Electroteknisk Komite)がメンバとなっている。
