ミヒャエル80勝  (7/11)
終わってみればまたかと思われる結果になった。今シーズン、M・シューマッハはピットストップで逆転したレースが5回目になった。サンマリノでバトン、スペインでトゥルーリ、カナダで弟、フランスでアロンソ、そしてイギリスでライコネンである。今回はマクラーレンの復調という要素はあったが、今シーズン全体で見ると誰もがM・シューマッハの手のひらで踊らされているだけの感が強くなった。こうなると、各チームはフェラーリ&ブリヂストンを凌駕するマシンを用意するしかない。
 
Michael's 80th win  (Jul.11)
When finishing, the result again considered to be was brought. The season and the races which reversed by Michael for the pit stop became the 5th time now. There were San Marino for Button, Spain for Trulli, Canada for a younger brother, France for Aonso, and Britain for Raikkonen. Although there was an element called a recovery of McLaren this time, when now seen in the whole season, only the admiration which everyone has danced in the palm of Michael became strong. When it becomes like this, each team cannot but prepare the machine which exceeds Ferrari & Bridgestone.

Alonso, Bruni, Baumgartner, Fisichella lose 10 grid for engine change. Panis's time was deleted by interfering Massa's run.
アロンソ、ブルーニ、バウムガートナー、フィジケラはエンジン交換で10位降格。パニスはマッサの走行を邪魔したためタイム抹消。
 
ライコネン今季初PP (7/10)
第一予選はいかに遅く走るかという奇妙な光景になった。最終予選の途中から雨が降ると予想されたためだった。M・シューマッハがインフィールドでスピンし、バリチェロがコースアウトした。クルサードらは、コントロールラインの前でわざとスローダウンした。これらは雨に関わらず、各チームの抗議の意思とも見て取れた。予選方式の維持を訴えるミナルディは真面目に走った。
最終予選は黒雲が心配されたが雨にはならなかった。ライコネンが今季初のPPを獲得。M・シューマッハはバリチェロに今季2敗目。佐藤はバトンに1秒以上も遅れて8番手。BARの2台はマクラーレンと同じく総周回数が少なかったが、信頼性が心配だ。アロンソはエンジン交換で6番手から16番手に降格。
 
Raikkonen got 1st PP of the season (Jul.10)
It became the strange spectacle how the first qualifying ran late. It was because it was expected that it rained from the middle of the last qualifying. Michael carried out the spin at the infield and Barrichello carried out course out. Coulthard et al. slowed down purposely in front of the control line. These were not concerned with rain but have been grasped also with the intention of a protest of each team. Minardi which appeals against maintenance of a qualifying system ran seriously. 
As for it, the last qualifying did not begin to rain, although it worried about black cloud. Raikkonen gained the first PP this season. Michael was the 2nd loss to Barrichello this season. It was late for Button 1 second or more, and Sato was 8th. Reliability is anxious although two sets of BAR had little total number of times of a lap as well as the McLaren. Alonso loses 10 grid for engine change.

土曜フリー走行は前半・後半ともライコネンがトップタイム。
最後の予選シミュレーションでバトンは2番手に来たが、佐藤は走れず16番手に沈んだ。
M・シューマッハは後半にストップ。ウィリアムズはロングランでいいペース。
 
Michael troubled, Taku 16th (Jul.10)
At Saturday practice, Raikkonen topped both 1st and 2nd half.
Button came 2nd at final qualifying simulation, but Sato could not run and sunk 16th.
M.Schumacher stopped in 2nd half. Williams got good pace on the long run.

金曜フリー走行 (7/9)
午前はバリチェロとM・シューマッハのフェラーリが1,2位を占めた。3番手モントーヤは高速コーナーのマゴッツでスピン。アロンソはトラブル。フィジケラはエンジン交換で予選10位降格が確定。
午後はライコネンがトップで、3番手クルサードとともにマクラーレンが上昇。ただし相変わらず走行距離は最も少ない。BARはデビッドソンがギヤボックストラブルでタイヤ評価が不十分に終わる。グロックは橋の下でホイールがはずれてクラッシュ。
昨年同様、今年も風で車の調子が大きく狂う場面が多そうだ。
 
Friday practice (Jul.9)
In the morning, Ferrari occupied 1-2 by Barrichello and M.Schumacher. 3rd Montoya spun at fast corner Maggots. Alonso stopped by mechanical trouble. Fisichella exchanged the engine and was 10 place back the grid.
In the afternoon, Raikkonen topped and Coulthard was 3rd. McLaren raised but However, there is least mileage as usual. Davidson of BAR with a gear box trouble and tyre evaluation finished insufficiently. Under a bridge, a wheel separates from Grock and he crashed. There are likely to be many scenes where the tune of a car also goes wrong greatly by the wind this year, similarly last year.
