ミヒャ王座決定で勝てず (8/29)
残り3周で再開。BSの弱点であるタイヤが暖まらないうちにライコネンが逃げる。そして優勝。2位Ｍ・シューマッハは連勝がストップしたが3位バリチェロに2点差をつけたため7度目のチャンピオン決定。5年連続はファンジオの4年連続を抜いた。だが記者会見でミヒャエルの目は死んでいた。
ゾンタがエンジンブロー。4位マッサ、5位フィジケラ、6位クリエン、7位クルサード、8位パニス。
モントーヤバースト、DCはクリエンに追突 (8/29)
34周目に再開。ライコネンが1位を守る。モントーヤはタイヤバースト。クルサード同様に縁石でカットしたか。
クルサードはオールージュ後にクリエンに追突してクラッシュ。3度目のセーフティカー。
1位ライコネン、2位Ｍ・シューマッハ、3位バリチェロ、4位ゾンタ、5位マッサ、6位フィジケラ、7位クリエン、8位パニス。ゾンタとクリエンが初入賞のチャンス。大荒れのレース。
バトンクラッシュ (8/29)
29周目ライコネン、30周目Ｍ・シューマッハがピットイン。
29周目レコムでバトンがタイヤバーストでスピンしてバウムガートナーと衝突。セーフティカーでライコネンのリードがなくなる。3位ピッツォニアがスローダウン。
キミとミヒャの戦い (8/29)
25-26周目、1位ライコネンと2位Ｍ・シューマッハはともに1:46秒台の応酬。13秒差が変わらない。今シーズン最高のレース。あとはマクラーレンが最後までもつかどうか。
ミヒャエル2位浮上 (8/29)
14周目にライコネン、15周目にモントーヤ、16周目にＭ・シューマッハががピットイン。
18周目、Ｍ・シューマッハがシケイン前でトゥルーリをオーバーテイク（他チームには今季初？）。モントーヤはやや後退。バトンは1周目にピットインしていた。
20周目、モントーヤがシケインでトゥルーリをオーバーテイクしようとして接触。トゥルーリがスピン。モントーヤは審議対象。
22周目バトンがピットイン。
1位ライコネン、2位Ｍ・シューマッハ(+13.1)、3位ピッツォニア(+24.0)。
1位アロンソスピンアウト (8/29)
10周目にトゥルーリがピットイン。
11周目、アロンソがスピン2度。グラベルにつかまってリタイヤ。クルサードもパンク。やっぱりシューマッハが勝つのか？
ミヒャエル6位後退 (8/29)
再開後、Ｍ・シューマッハはライコネンに抜かれ、さらにシケインでモントーヤにアウトからオーバーテイクされ、6位に後退。いつもと違って面白くなった。
佐藤オールージュでクラッシュ (8/29)
スタートでＭ・シューマッハはアロンソだけでなくクルサードにも抜かれた。
佐藤はオールージュでウェバーに追突された。ブルーニとパンターノも衝突。セーフティカー出動。バリチェロはリアウィング交換。
1位トゥルーリ、2位アロンソ、3位クルサード、4位Ｍ・シューマッハ、5位ライコネン、6位モントーヤ。バトンは11位。
Michael decided crown without win (Aug.29)
Restarted rest 3 laps. Raikkonen Before the tire gets warm which is the weak point of BS, Raikkonen escaped. and won. The 2nd place, although successive victories stopped, since the 3rd place of a two-point difference was given toBarrichello, M.Schumacher is the 7th champion determination. Continuation passed Fangio's four-year continuation for five years. But Michael's eyes were like a died fish.
Zonta brew the engine. 4th Massa, 5th Fisichella, 6th Klien, 7th Coulthard, 8th Panis.
Montoya burst, DC crashed from behind (Aug.29)
34th lap restart. Raikkonen kept 1st. Montoya occurred rear tyre burst. He may cut at the kerbstone as Coulthard.
Coulthard crashed behind with Klien at Eau Rouge. 3rd time Safety car.
1st Raikkonen, 2nd M.Schumacher, 3rd Barrichello. 4th Zonta, 5th Massa, 6th Fisichella, 7th Klien, 8th Panis. Zonta and Klien have a chance 1st point.
Button crashed (Aug.29)
29th lap Raikkonen, 30th lap M.Schumacher pit in.
29th lap Button crashed at Les Combes with Baumugartner by tyre burst. Again the safety car, Raikkonen lost the lead. 3rd Pizzonia occurred slow down.
Battle of Kimi and Michael (Aug.29)
25-26th lap 1st Raikkonen and 2nd M.Schumacher recorded the level of 1:46 seconds. A difference does not change for 13 seconds. The race of the season highest now. Does McLaren have the rest to the last or not?
Michael rose 2nd (Aug.29)
14th lap Raikkonen, 15th lap Montoya, 16th lap M.Schumacher pit in.
18th lap M.Schumacher overtook Trulli at the chicane (1st time in this season?). Montoya was behind. Button pit in on 1st lap.
20th lap Montoya collided with Trulli at the chicane, Trulli spun, Montoya is a candidate for deliberation.
22th lap Button pit in.
1st Raikkonen, 2nd M.Schumacher(+12.5),3rd Pizzonia(+24.0).
1st Alonso spun off (Aug.29)
10th lap Trulli pit in.
11th lap Alonso spun 2 times and was cought by gravell, and retired. Coulthard occurred puncture. Then Schumacher may win?
Michael retreated to 6th (Aug.29)
At restart, M.Schumacher was passed by Raikkonen, and was overtaken by Montoya at the chicane and was 6th. It is interesting not as usual.
Sato crashed at Eau Rouge (Aug.29)
M.Schumacher was passed at start by not only Alonso but Coulthard.
Sato was clashed by Webber from behind at Eau Rouge. Bruni and Pantano also crashed. Safety car appeared. Barrichello exchanged the rear wing.

雨の勢いが変化する状況の中、トゥルーリがモナコ以来２度目のPPを獲得。Ｍ・シューマッハはわずか0.072秒及ばず２番手。アロンソ３番手。BARはバトン12番手、佐藤15番手に沈んだ。ドライが予想されるレースでの巻き返しが期待される。
Trulli gained 2nd PP since Monaco in the situation that rain vigor changed. It did not reach for only 0.072 seconds, but Michael was 2nd. Alonso was 3rd. BAR sank in Button of 12th, and Sato 15th. The comeback by the race dry is expected to be is expected.

朝9時のセッションは霧のため中止。1999年には午前のセッションがすべて中止になったことがある。
10時45分から15分だけ行われた今季初のウェットセッションでは、フェラーリが1-2。佐藤はオールージュのあるセクター１で最速だったが、低速マウンテン区間のセクター２が遅い。そのセクター２で速かったのがＭ・シューマッハ。高速コーナーの多いセクター３はマクラーレンが速かった。フィジケラも4番手に入るなど、ウェットコンディションではブリヂストンに一日の長あり。
The session at 9:00 was cancelled in the morning for fog. All the sessions of ante-meridian had been stopped in 1999.
At the wet session first this season performed from 10:45 only for 15 minutes, Ferrari was 1-2. Although Sato was the quickest with Sector 1 with Eau-Rouge, he was late in Sector 2 of the low-speed mountain section. It was Michael that was quick at Sector 2. Sector 3 with many high-speed corners had quick McLaren. Since Fisichella also went into 4th, in wet condition, Bridgestone is superior.

路面22度というのは今季最低。ミシュランが低温でも性能を発揮した。
Raikkonen tops by 1:44.701. All three sets of BAR went into five higher ranks. It is the 2nd time that Ferrari was not able to take a top in the Friday morning and afternoon this season since Europe GP. 22 road surfaces are the minimum this season. Michelin demonstrated the performance also at low temperature.
