フルバンドでの演奏をアンコールまで完全収録。 彼らの地元であり何度もライヴを見に足を運んだ会場なので、このステージには特に思い入れが深いそうだ。 演奏そのものもたいへん丁寧（すぎてもう少しスピード感が欲しいと思う曲もあるくらい）、Galeのハーモニーがこれまでになくきれいに決まっている。 Ollyのヴォーカルは完璧。 '72'のイントロでは"JAWS"のテーマのようなお遊びも聴かせたりもする。
'Long Distance'の次に何か演奏しかけて中断（カヴァーかステージでのみ演奏している未発表曲なのか不明だが、"Ether Song"からの第三弾シングル'Average Man'には未発表曲収録の予定とあり、その曲かもしれない）、'Average Man'演奏の際「首相に捧げたい」と皮肉な前置き（前日より米英軍がイラク攻撃を開始していた）。
アンコール'Underdog'がレゲエ風のイントロで始まるなどステージでのアレンジに変化が。

アメリカでのラジオ出演デビュー。 "The Optimist LP"レコーディングがほぼ完了してから、何度か顔を合わせたことのあるKCRWのDJニック・ハーコートに頼んで彼の番組で演奏させてもらったんだそうな。 プロモーション活動にとても積極的なのは音楽から想像しがたいが……

新作のプロモーションを兼ねてか"Ether Song"から7曲（*）を演奏、フォーラムによると"The Door"が演奏されずがっかりしたファンもいたらしい。 実のところアルバムで凄いのは、演奏されなかった'Panic Attack''Little Brother''Ether Song'といった曲のほう。

'Long Distance'演奏の前に「今日PLAYBOY誌の取材を受けたから次号に載ると思う…… いろんな理由で毎月買いたいけど（笑）来月号は僕らに送ってくれるらしい(笑）」などと喋っている。

"webcast"でライヴ、"special feature"からリハーサルの様子とインタビューを見ることができる。Gale Paridjanianがギター小僧らしく'Walk This Way'のリフを弾いて遊んでいたのには笑えた。

ステージはキーボード、ベース、ドラムスを従えたバンド編成、アルバム"The Optimist Lp"の最後に収録のシークレットトラック(インストゥルメンタル)'Three Days Old'で幕を開ける。 そのままシングルカットされた'State Of Thing'に。
アルバム未収録の'The Boss'（日本盤ではボーナストラックとして収録）と"72"シングル収録'Lasso(encore-2)'、新曲という'Jet Trail'（2003年2月リリースの2ndアルバム"Ether Song"にも未収録なので、ここで聴けるのは貴重）、曲名は不明ながらインストゥルメンタルナンバー(7)も演奏。
'Slack'での盛り上がりようはさすがバンド編成の醍醐味、しかし続く'Mind Over Money'では逆にイントロの音数が多すぎ、アコースティックギター本来の良さが失われているように感じた。

アンコール2曲目'Lasso'は"The Optimist LP"レコーディング中のセッションでできた曲とのこと。 Turin Brakesの音楽にはもともとイギリス臭がほとんどなく、この曲からはむしろ大陸、アメリカ的な広がりが感じられる。
ラストは'(Emergency)72' 、アコースティック主体のステージは締めくくり方が難しそうだがこの曲で無事にランディングしたという感じ。
