（嵯峨釈迦堂） SEIRYUJI TEMPLE 東大寺の僧が中国より釈迦如来立像（国宝）を請来、愛宕山を中国の五台山になぞらえて大清涼寺を建立しようとしたのが始まり。浄土宗の古刹で一般的には”嵯峨の釈迦堂”で通っている。 This was originally the villa of Toru Minamoto, who s said to have been the model for the p;ayboy hero of the Genji Monogatari. The main statue of the Buddha, Shaka Buddha, is a National Treasure noted for its exotic appearance. |
