| 南禅寺(三門) NANZENJI TEMPLE 石川五右衛門が「絶景かな、絶景かな」と言ったと言われる場所、しかし実は作り話らしい・・歴史は変えられるんですね。 After abdicating his position to become a priest, Emperor Kameyama converted this palace to a Zen temple in 1291. Tanyu Kano's well kown painting of a tiger drinking water is in the Sho-Hoji Room. The temple's Hojo Garden is in the style of the early Edo period. |
