I wanted to add this entry, since I did not have much time earlier.
Since Summer I have not gained a lot of length
because I have been doing monthly trims to even and thicken up my ends,
grow out layers and old chemical dye.
I would like my hair to be even longer but there is no point in going further
if my ends are so wispy and thin.
I expect it to better and my "virgin hair" to be more evenly thick
but I still have a looooong way to go to be dye free and satisfied.
Take a look at these pictures if you want to see how far I am with growing out dye:

Those pictures show my black ends with chem. dye,
the part inbetween that has a henndigo color (henna+indigo mix)
and the top that is henna only..(and my roots..hihi)
In reality I do not look 4 colored...I just used high flash for that picture.
So you can barely tell I used to dye my hair black.
The henndigo part is a mystery though..it is just as dark/light
as the henna only hair but just not as red..
I had not hennaed for 4 mths so thats why on top I have "dark" roots,
which are not really darker, just a much cooler color.
Here are my trimming stats for September:
Length: 104,7cm
Trim: 1,2cm
New Length 103,5cm
(My monthly growth is about 1,7cm, so far above the average 1cm, means I can trim a good amount)
Last year September I had a really big problem with my hair,
after moving to the States (USA).
I had to change my Shampoo and the new shampoo started making my hair
really dry, crunchy and somewhat wavy.
It also felt sticky as if someone had put glue into it..I was really unhappy.
I also had a huge shed which really made me loose a lot of hair (stress and bad food).
Luckily I found a great, mild shampoo and after just 1 clarifying wash,
my hair changed back to normal, straight as ever..
I already thought I was going crazy and growing curls o_O
Ok thats all I remember to say about September...
Emi :)
