Volcanic gas such as sulphur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide indicating the acidity is included in volcanic ashes (lava such as the sand). Because this volcanic gas attaches to the surface of volcanic ashes, the volcanic ashes present the acidity.
火山灰（砂のような溶岩）には、酸性を示す二酸化硫黄・硫化水素・二酸化炭素などの火山ガスが含まれています。この火山ガスが、火山灰の表面に付着しているので、火山灰は酸性を呈します。
