The Dragons

This "Male dragon" (peacock color type) is the first M.Pena's work which I met. Several years before, I saw him at the "Glass Slippers"(a souvenir shop which sells glass works and fantasy goods)in Tokyo Disney Land. The perfection made really deep inpression to me, and I bollowed money from my friend to buy it!(^^;) He is my favorite!
This photograph isn't so good. (^^;), (The real thing is the more BEAUTIFUL !) You can see delicate details, the light frame like a bird or a dinosaur, the realistic muscles ! He has a perfect balance!! SO COOL!!!!! (^o^)
The wings are different from usual dragons (But, dragons in THIS series of of this type have same type wings. It has 2 different sides, upper side looks like a bird's wing, and other side is bat's. I think the wings are their charm point (^o^). The sitting height is about 9 inches (23 cm).
There are
many variations in this series. Next, I would like to introduce
"Emperor dragon, "(white). She is the biggest dragon in
my collection. (Please compare to "Male dragon" and
"Hatching dragon"), She is 12.75-inch height (about 33
cm.) I bought her Tokyo Disney Land, when I went to there next
time when I bought "Male dragon". But I was very tired
because she was so HEAVY!!!!! (;_;)
By the way, I thought that she is "Queen dragon" until
I bought her (^o^) , because I like "Pern" series by
Anne McCaffrey.
Look her! She's so beautiful, isn't she? Her pearl color scales
make her overwhelming nice body(^o^)more gracefully.
The last one is "Young dragon" (green) below. He is 5.75-inch height (about 15 cm) This colorring edition (green) became out of print.
I think "Green Young dragon" isn't so bad, But, "Green Emreror dragon" looks VERY reptiletic like a giant iguana (^^;) ... It may means most real isn't always best.
There are some other variations of M. pena's this type dragons. For example, "Hatching" series, youcan see in the "Egg's room" And , others which I haven't gotten yet, are "Mother dragon", "Fledging dragon", "Scratching dragon", "Lap Dragon" and others.
Every dragon has the each color (peacock color, white, emerald) at present. There were brown versions before , but it became out of print with green version. I'm going to buy the "Mother dragon" (the kind which is the same as "Male dragon", put her head on the tail and ache), when nice new color comes out (^^).
