Arlanda Express is an airport-rail-link connecting Stockholm Central Station with Arlanda Airport.
The cruising speed of the train is 200 km/hour and the journey takes 20 minutes.

ストックホルム国際空港から市内中心部へはアーランダ急行（ Arlanda Express ）が非常に便利である。空港は
市中心部から42キロ離れているが、この間を20分で結んでいる。電車はターミナル5にある空港北駅から
ターミナル3とターミナル4との中間にある空港南駅を経由し、その後はストックホルム中央駅までノンストップで走る。
夏の間、6：00〜23：00の時間帯は15分おきに発着し、運行は非常に正確である。もし、2分以上の遅延すれば
新切符を発行してくれる。




国際線ターミナルで荷物受け取った後に「Arlanda Express」の標識のある自動切符売り場に行く。切符はクレジットで
画面の表示に従って操作すれば容易に買い求めることが出来る。ウイークデーは一人、220SEK（１SEK は2008年7月
現在、約18円）で、ウイークエンドになると一人240ＳＥＫとなる。20分間走行するアーランダ急行の料金は、5時間以上
走行するストックホルム・コペンハーゲン間の特急、Ｘ2000、朝食付きの１等料金、一人295ＳＥＫに近い金額となる。
いくら空港タクシーの代替えだとしても、非常に高額な運賃である。

乗車券購入後に自動切符販売機の横の専用エレベータで降りるが、驚いたことに、そこが電車のホームで、アーランダ
急行の電車が待機、間もなく出発した。

Arlanda Express - Exterior and interior - relatively large trunk space is near the entrance door.
　
Nonstop Arlanda Express takes 20minutes from the airport to the city center.
Arlanda Express share the rail with sweden railway, in which trains run left side, but
the trains of Arlanda Express run right side.
　
The interior of Arlanda Express is similar to that of air plains. It provides a TV monitor on the back space of train sheet
and at the corner of a corridor.

高速電車は森と湖の国、スエーデンの森林や畑を車窓に見ながら 最高時速、２１０キロで快適に走行した。そして、
正確に２０分でストックホルム中央駅に到着した。予約したホテルを探したがストリートレベルにある Arlanda Express
駅ホームから１ブロックの地点にあり、徒歩１分でチェックイン出来た。非常に効率のよいアクセスであった。
