▲OhsazakinoMikoto − OhsazakinoMikoto(Nintoku Tenno) △Empress's jealousy and Kurohime. Empress's IhanohimenoMikoto was very jealous. Therefore the mistress who serves the Emperor couldn't call at Imperial Court and see. When a mistress said something to the Emperor, she stamped her foot on the ground and was jealous. By the way an emperor heard that daughter's Kurohime of Amabenoatai in Kibi is very beautiful, and he made it present. But the Empress is afraid to feel jealous, and she has fled back to Mototsukuni (home). The Emperor was in an high palace. He easily saw Nanihanoumi hitting upon a ship of Kurohime and composed the following poetry. "A boat ranges in the offing. My dear wife goes to home.2 Then the Empress heard this Emperor's poem and got angry greatly. She dispatched a person to a big inlet and took Kurohime down from a ship. It made her walk, and it was sent away. The Emperor thought of Kurohime longingly. He tricked the Empress as follows. "I'd like to see Ahadishima." He was in Ahadishima and easily viewed it, and composed the following poetry. "I stand in Nahihanosaki and look at my country, I see Ahashima Onogoroshima Adimasanoshima, and Saketsushima is seen, too." Or he came from the island to Kibinokuni in island-hopping. Then Kurohime has guided the Emperor around the national mountain and has presented a meal. She tried to boil soup, and adopted green vegetable. The Emperor went to the place where the virgin adopts green vegetable and composed the following poetry. "When adopting with Kurohime in Kibi, the green vegetable sown around the mountain is fun." When the Emperor returned, Kurohime offered the following poetry. "Even if I get away from you far as a westerly blows to the direction in Yamato, and eastern cloud may get away, I don't forget you." She composed poetry. "Whose husband is it to go to the direction of Yamato? When I commune secretly, whose husband is it to return?" |
